I've noticed that most of the RPM ratings on notebooks are below average (4.8k, 5200, ect). Is it worth the battery usage to step it up to a 7200 rpm?

Is battery life very important when it comes to mobile usage?

If so I would suggest one of the higher cache lower RPM drives.

Toshiba had a bunch of 5,400 RPM 16MB drives

Aaaaahh yes... im not sure why, but I forgot about how the cache size is an importent factor when it comes to picking a hard drive. Thanks for the reminder

I can't find any of the 16MB drives anymore except for the old 40GB, looks like they've all been reduced to 8MB
