I have a Dell m1210. Good for my needs but i'm planing to upgrade the HDD soon. Its runs Vista Primium Home and i'm just wondering if theirs a painless way to get say a 160 HDD to replace the internal 80 and clone the partitions, drivers, data, etc to the one 160 (though obviously with larger partition sizes) before swaping out the HDDS so when i put that 160 in everything is where it should be.

Still my favorite option if you're looking to buy.

It will even correct your boot configuration if you move from pATA to sATA!

They have a download version as well, but for some weird reason it's $3 more right now.

I downloaded it from newegg & I couldn't activate it due to no serial #.
Newegg gave me a refund immediately.
I would get the cd if I were you.

Sorry. Meant to post that.

That's the one catch. You'll need an external enclosure.

Really?

I got my e-mail with the serial number no problem.

And yes, I bought my digital copy through Newegg.

Oh yeah.

I have a enclosure for 2.5" HDDs. Supports sATA internally, and e-sATA plus USB 2.0 externally.

Comes with a power cable for when running on one USB jack or e-sATA.

Newegg doesn't carry it anymore though, so I can't point it out.

However, this will still work using USB 2.0. It will just take longer.

Then you can use the smaller HDD as portable storage space. :D
