Hi,

I have done a bit of searching, but still have a few questions I would like to ask. :) My service with T-mobile is nearly up and I would like to upgrade my phone to a smart phone. However, I still can't decide between a Treo 680/750/755 or a Blackberry 8800/8820/8830, or Curve.

I do not mind switching my service provider. However, I'm kind of leaning towards sprint because my company offers us a 10% discount. On the other hand, I've heard that Sprint's service and customer service aren't really great....

If you had a choice between a Treo or the BB, which one would you choose?

My main uses would be-
* Upload some music from my PC
* Edit/create word/excel documents
* Watch some videos
* Schedule/calender

I really like the look of the Blackberry 88xx's. Yet, I'm a big supporter of function over form.

What do you guys think of the Curve compared to the Treo's?

Thanks for the assist,

Brian

Do you prefer a stylist (the pen thing you use to select options) or scroll wheels?

Stylist = TREO
Scroll Wheels and joysticks = BB

To be honest, I'm perfectly fine with both! :shock:

I suppose the only thing that concerns me is the BB's ability to handle documents. Is the BB Curve still limited in its productivity features compared the other BB's?

Yes, and by documents if you are referring to Windowz documents, I'm not aware of any compatable BB phones.

handling documents/emails/calendars/business- Treo, all the way!

handling videos, internet/ songs, and Blackberry is the better choice.
BE WARNED they become extremely addicting if you begin to depend on them.. I have even seen someone pull out a smartphone and begin playing games on it during church numerous times.

I have yet to see a Treo that can work with youtube, or any other major Internet Video hosting sites, such as flickr.
