I just want a shell so I dont have to pay $2000 for a computer that I have all the main parts for.

If im right, the shells come with the mobo's inside them; right? If they are priced right, I could have a project ready for when I get done with that mineral pc.

The sites looked hopeful but I cant exactly give them a good hard look so keep me posted.

Asus is the only one I found that does it. It's barebones are old and a piece-of-CRAP though.

That's because there's no standard form factor for laptops yet. Until there's a standard (like ATX or BTX) I don't think there's going to be a lot of offerings in the Whitebook market.
