I have a Logitech 5.1 Speaker system and need a sound solution in order to take advantage of the surround sound. I'm looking for either a card for the expansion port or a usb solution. What I need the card to have is the 3 line out ports. Thanks for your guys' help.

The Audigy II NX was USB based and has analog surround outputs.

Only problem I had with that it required a DC wall wart.

if you have the PCMCIA slot, you can get an audigy2 zs notebook. it is basically a card with an adapter to the 3 analog jacks. I ran a 5.1 set of creative gigaworks speakers on it just fine... its windows only.. I just got a mac and I am probably going to sell mine soon

If you can't spare a PCMCIA slot then use this, it works with 5.1:

or this

I would get the turtle beach or sound blaster if i were you.

Being that this was over two months ago, I'm sure they've already picked something up by now.
