Is it possible to upgrade a graphics chip a laptop?

Depends on the laptop in question. The vast majority still use integrated graphics (no upgrade possible), some have discrete graphics chips that are soldered to the mobo (no upgrades), and others have wee little PCIe videocards that can be replaced.

What system do you have?
