Sorry about the language on that part, but I did a little experiment earlier. Emulating a PlayStation 1 game on Vista, playing "Jade Cocoon: Story of the Tamamayu". While I was playing, I monitored the core speed by running CPU-Z on the side.

My CPU is clocked normally at 1989 MHz at a multiplier of 10x. But during the run of a PSX game, sometimes the clock would jump above 30 GHz or even 100 GHz, then back to near 2. After all these years of experiencing all types of CPU's, I have never seen anything like this before! I know this is not an overclock, but could this be some kind of glitch perhaps? I never used any overclocking methods, not even liquid nitrogen, and the core speed leap still came out of nowhere!

Thanx,

$.@.K.
