I have a laptop I bought 3 months ago in December with a 7600 GO. The best I can get right now is dual 7950GTX card in a lappy. Anyone know when the 8800 series is coming out on laptop?

The dates are really iffy, but the GeForce Go 8800GS might be out in may, with more models to follow. The Go GPUs have to be manufactured with a smaller die size (either 80 or 65 nm), compared to the 90nm desktop models, to deal with heat better.

I suspect there's a maximum power draw that nVidia's GPU needs to meet before the laptop manufacturers will begin integrating them into their machines.

Being that 8800's usually take two additional lines directly from the PC's power supply, it may be a while before we see them.

There are rumors that a SLI based Quadro 3500M was going to be out at the end of the month, but I think that was just speculation.

8400 and 8600 mobility chips.

A 7900 mobility could probably outrun the two of them.
