None of the above. Try some of these:

http://www.eurocom.com/

or if you live in Canada:

If you're not a gamer don't leave IBM out of the bunch. They're practically kings of variety.

IBM lost my respect when they sold their desktop and laptop division over to that Chinese company, Lenovo.

If you think so.

Their support according to consumer reports has suffered since the takeover, with Dell, Apple, and Toshiba beating them out.

I'm Sure that IBM has a Good Machine, but they really haven't changed their Design in a Long time. And the Design looks kinda Gawdy to me. Here in Iraq, i Bought an Averatec at the PX and it does really well for a Cheap Machine. I think this one can be refered to as a "White Book". Both Memory Slots are on the Bottom (None Under the Keyboard). It's THIN. It Uses an AMD processor, and my Version will let you watch DVDs without Firing up the Computer itself. If you don't mind Voiding the Warrenty, you can put your own Optical Drive in there by Removing a Grand Total of 2 External Screws. I took out the Combo Drive and put a Slot Fed 16x DVD Burner in mine. In Addition, It's doing VERY well here in the Desert of Iraq. I've seen alot of Computers Bite the Dust here (Literally). There are Dust Storms and it gets to 140F in the Summer. My Cheap Little Averatec Outlasted Most. Especially the Dells and Compaqs.
