I believe that i am in the correct forum for this question. I have an older Acer Aspire One D250 1580 that I purchased about around 4 or 5 years ago. The machine came with Windows XP installed, I successfully upgraded to Win7 and experienced no problems. I've replaced the keyboard once, not that difficult to do. When it was new, the unit ran fairly quickly for my needs. I found that it is really slow now. Long boot times and program loading times. I get tired of looking at the revolving blue circle. I've used a defragging (Auslogics) program but this doesn't seem to help. Any ideas out there.
