I am a new military soldier looking at the various tablets. I am looking for a tablet to take with me when I go to Korea for my station. I am looking for a tablet that will have a lot of books, be able to play Netflix, and will be able to surf the Internet pretty good. I am not looking to play any games on the tablet. I was wondering what the best tablet would be for my choice. I leave for Korea on September 16 so please help a guy out. Please explain why you choose the tablet over other choices.

What's your budget? If you're spending something like $200-$300, I believe the Nexus 7 is in this range and it does a pretty good job in its price range. $300-$400, then I would aim for an ASUS or Samsung tablet for Android, otherwise an iPad. Any more and I would start suggesting looking at laptops.
