I just ordered mine at PalmOne, but it's on backorder. Anybody has an experience with this PDA/Phone?

Thanks

The lack of Wi-Fi still mildly annoys me, should have been built in since the Treo 650.

Is there an SD WiFi adapter available for Treo 650?

My grandfather loves his treo. Very functional and the phone part has great reception in rural areas(where i live).

I know they've made one for the T5 (which I think also works in the T3) but I'm not sure if it works in the Treo.

The lack of wifi in smart-phones is probably the number one reason I won;t get one. From the cell company's point of view, they probably figure they won't get you to pay the outrageous internet fees for THEIR web service if you have wifi on the thing and can find a hotspot.

I'm hoping WiMax will help put a stop to Verizons ass-rapage ($50/month) on slow-ass mobile internet.

Samsung i730 has built in wifi, can use the new Verizon EVDO high speed data network, bluetooth, and in general kicks the treo's ass. I've been waiting for it to come out for months. It's out for business as of last week, for consumers i think the launch is this week.
