for an iPhone 4 you will need redsnow. Do a search on google for it.

You'll also find specific websites for redsnow. Not a big fan of jailbreak anymore

I used to jailbreak but with Apple releasing more and more of the essential features I wanted from jailbreaking it's hard for me to stay interested. They only thing I've been enjoying from jailbreaking is some of the useful widgets they release for the notification center.
