I'm looking to buy a book that is cheaper in the Kindle format than it is in paperback format. I don't have one of those newfangled whatsits, so I'm wondering if I can read it on any old PC? Let's just pretend I'm one of the EULA-abiding types for now.

Under 'available for these devices', you'll see a long list of devices capable of reading that file .. including PCs and Macs and smartphones.

Since you're posting on the internet, I assume you have access to one of these newfangled devices? ;)

Yes, I have a PC. ;| There is an application called Kindle for PC that you must install to a PC. I ran into some issues with logins not staying logged in with Win7 x64, but that won't stop me from using it. :)
