So my favorite laptop battery dealer (third-party since I refuse to pay inflated Dell prices) has decided they're not going to honor their price-match guarantee in the same way anymore. (For those interested, all of the sudden the qualification that the competitor must not only beat their price, but also match their no-fault return and two year warranty, which they willfully ignored last time by price-matching a competitor with a shorter no-fault return policy and one year warranty, is suddenly a big deal).

What places have members here found reliable replacement batteries for a reasonable price? I know better than to just troll eBay or Amazon for the lowest price (a friend did that and his battery lasted one month, then the company refused to warranty it).

Suggestions?

If laptop battery technology hasn't changed, try making your own. Link
