Hey everybody, I haven't posted on here in over a year... but I have a problem.

My new ASUS EEE 1005HA netbook arrived today, with it I purchased a 2GB stick of Corsair 667Mhz DDR2 laptop memory (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820145172) so I could run Windows 7.

I think the Corsair memory is DOA. I installed it, powered up the netbook, and it wouldn't boot. The LED lights for power, etc. turn on, but it wouldn't even POST; the BIOS screen does not show up. Just a blank, black screen. I tried removing the battery for 30 seconds then powering it back up, but no luck.

I reinstalled the original 1GB module and it boots up just fine.

Is anybody else thinking I have a bad RAM module?
