I'm trying to get my A+ certification, but I'm trying to spend as little money as possible, and my searching brought me across This website. it looks fairly legit, but I'm not sure about it. does anyone have any experiences with it?

Site is marked safe according to CertGuard.

You might want to look into ProProfs.com, they have a lot of free study materials on their site/forum.

good to know. Have you ever heard of it? from the looks of it, this guy just decided to make a full set of study videos (all of the ones I have seen have been very good quality, and very professional) for no reason, other than to help people looking for study material.
It just seems too good to be true, so I am suspicious.

I've never used it, but no reason to not use it.

Just make sure you take practice tests from multiple locations to ensure that you actually know what you are doing before you take the test.

will do =)
one last question, because I don't feel like making an entire new thread just to ask this.
I've been doing this sort of stuff as a hobby for quite some time (building PCs, repairing PC's, freelance Tech work, and all around "family IT guy"). I feel like I know quite a bit just from my experiences. How hard do you think it will actually be for someone in my situation to pass the tests?

You shouldn't have too much of a problem The A+ exam is supposed to be the equivalent of 6 months relevant job experience.

Never hurts to review the stuff that may have slipped your mind though. You won't have access to Google during the test  . Also you will need to know a lot about printers.

Haha, yeah, I hate printers as well. Mostly the material comes from laser printers though.

Just remember: California Cows Won't Dance The Fandango (most likely the mnemonic you will use to remember the print cycle, which is: Clean-Charge-Write-Develop-Transfer-Fuse)

A few months back, I was using ProProfs for some great study materials for my Network+. It's a great site and I highly recommend it.
