 Post subject: Updating the A+ certification

The most current A+ test is the 2006 version, however most of the questions are outdated, and deals with really old hardware. Will comptia be updating their A+ exam in the near future to be more up to date?

Yeah, the 2009 objectives will be out soon. Supposed to cover Vista and other newer things.

You have until July 2010 to take the 2006 objectives test I think.

Do you have any more info on the 2009 exam? Will it drop old stuff like Windows 95/98/2000 and Parallel ports?

It will cover Windows XP and Vista for sure.

Parallel ports and such are gone.
