Dude...I attend Missouri State :D

It is a really awesome school and has an awesome Computer Science department. I assume you want to do a lot of programming. The campus is a very friendly campus and there are always people around.

I'm currently doing the ITSM degree (Information Technology Service Management, which is a branch of Computer Information Systems).

What city do you live in by the way?

Let me know if you have any school specific questions.

Yes Hackman you are right I do not want to get into programming. I live in St. Louis. What type of career are you going to be able to have with that degree. I am mainly nervous about living with a random roommate I just wanted to know if Mo State had a good IT school and if Mizzou was better or not.
I also consider Partying as one of my most important activities

With ITSM I had to take CIS 270 (basically Java I and that's all the programming). With the degree you are looking at basically a management type IT level job. I know I have to take a ton of business courses before I graduate. You can check out the CIS webpage if you want. Here is a description of what I'm taking.

I cannot comment on Mizzou's IT department, but I know my school's is pretty nice. All the professors are really nice and such and are REALLY helpful.

Living with a random roommate really isn't a big deal. All the dorms are pretty social so you will find pretty quick that it is easy enough to make some friends. I'm currently living with a random roommate. I know before you start though you fill out a questionnaire and they try to match you with the best possible match. As far as the partying goes, not sure, I don't party that much.

Good luck on whatever school you choose.
