Anybody know the definite retire dates for A+ 220-301 and 220-302? I just passed the Core Hardware, and want to make sure I can still take the OS test before it's retired. CompTia site says it will be 12-31-06, but will it overlap the new test? I saw a date for March 07 also. If I have until March to take it, no problem. I'll buy the voucher now, and take the test in Jan. or so.

You might recheck the site, because last I remember reading it. It will be around until the middle of 07. So you should be alright. Will double check this and get back to you though.

Thank's,
I did see that calendar date which is why I thought I still had some time to take the test. After calling CompTia, I found out that DEC 31st is the last day! I have a friend who just completed a A+ OS class and has until June to take his test. I guess it's a special waver or something because he actually took a class.

For those of you who are self study like me, you better hurry up. I just passed my OS test last SAT. after only a week of cramming. So, hopefully this will help someone else if they see this thread.
