I want to start developing real applications for Windows. I was thinking about getting an MCSD certification, but I'm not sure which path I should take. My background is primarily C++, other c-based languages, and web development such as java, html, css, xml, php, etc... but I have little to no experience developing practical applications for the Windows environment. I have dabbled in VBA during work and people tell me that VB seems to becoming a de-facto industry standard. So, in your opinion, should I go C#, VB, or just screw the whole thing altogether in favor of something else?
