Windows XP is very old and is quickly getting replaced. But is it still worth it to get the Windows XP 70-270 MCP?

Yes. Many still use it, just like my granddad used Win98 until last year. He upgraded to 7.

No support for XP is ending next year you are just waiting your time. Anyone that is using XP at this point has a really old computer and should prob upgrade

If you have a choice between getting Windows 7 and Windows XP...go with the 7 certification line. But if you just want to write a cert, then you can't go wrong with XP. But I would not prioritize any money you have toward certification in to it UNLESS you see a job posting out there that is asking specifically for Windows XP. And don't take the 70-270 certification lightly...it's one of the trickier certifications out there. Not as bad the 2003 security design certification, but still go in well prepared.
