Hello ladies and gents,

I have a HP dV7 with a quadcore Phenom II N970 cpu and I want to undervolt it. I already downloaded CPU-Z, Prime, and RMClock (including the x64 extention), but RMclock isn't working right. I've already read all the guides online on how to use it, but when RMClock loads up, I get a AMD Engineering Sample with unknown core and revision, and almost every single option is grey-ed out so I can't click on it. Anybody know a fix for this?

Well here's the thing, are you sure you can even do that on the computer? Most OEM computers will not let you touch low level settings like processor voltage.

Normally I wouldn't think so either, but I've read numerous successful reports of people with other OEM laptops do it too, including Dell and other HP dV5/7s.
