Can't overclock an HP pavillian laptop, any one with that problem.

Some manufacturers just don't build an option to overclock in the BIOS as doing so would just hurt the computer. Try looking up what model you have and see if its overclockable.

Unless you bought it from a game-centric boutique, you can't overclock the processor on any brand-name PC. And there's a good reason why: overclocking most of the time voids the warranty.

Also you have a laptop. Overclocking laptops are asking for thermal issues. And I don't even think game-centric boutiques allow you to do that.
