Hey everyone I'm going to post the components for a new build that I'm doing soon. This is not my first build but the last one i did was about 3 years ago and I've been a little out of the loop. Really I just want to know if I'm going a little overkill on any hardware or if something could stand to be upgraded.
What I'm trying to accomplish is mainly gaming(things like Diablo 3, Skyrim, and BF3 on highest settings), and quick web browsing/startup.
I already have the case i want: <a href="http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112318">newegg.com</a>
Mobo:<a href="http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157295">newegg.com</a>
CPU: <a href="http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115070">newegg.com</a>
Mem: <a href="http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145347">newegg.com</a>
GPU: <a href="http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130687">newegg.com</a>
PSU: <a href="http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153136">newegg.com</a>
Also going with:
A 1 TB WD Caviar black HDD, along with a 64 GB SSD to put the OS and a game on.
Aftermarket CPU fan/heatsink, most likely CM 212
Maybe a blu-ray ODD, haven't decided
Constructive criticism please!
