first off not sure if im in the right section or not. if not please move topic to right spot.

anyways my question is i have a Galaxy GeForce GTX 550Ti 2GB pci-e video card and have access to the bios of a Palit GeForce GTX 560Ti 2Gb pci-e video card, am i able to flash my cards bios to that bios? like i mean will it work. sorta like how that one ati card could be upgraded to its bigger brother by flashing its bios.. thanks for any information.

not to sure what the amd single core cpu unlocking a dual core has to do with my post but ok? and when i was talking about the ati card i believe it was like the 5750 if flashed using the 5780 bios it would unlock more shader cores and other things that were locked out on the 5750. now i may be mistaken on the model number of the card. and i know this was a possible thing because it was posted here on maxpc back a while ago about it being possible to do. was just wondering if the same thing was possible with nvidia cards as well.

Your just going to brick the card. You can't just flash everything hoping to get more performance. Not only that, the power draw is different in each product. If you have an SLi motherboard, grab another 550Ti to SLi, it will give you a bit more performance than a 560Ti.
