Wow! That's a pretty douchey response to a valid point made by a respected member of this forum! I think what Chumly is trying to get at is with this chip, you need to understand the architecture in order to efficiently overclock it. DO you know what the bclock is? Uncore? QPI? RAM dividers? ALL these things come into play when overclocking Core iX series hardware. It's NOT like the old FSB days where you just crank the FSB until it pukes... If you find info on the 980x, then you have the info on the 980 (same chip, just locked multiplier). Good luck!
