I'm presently using a very good EVGA 275GTX, and would like some overclocking pointers
from you younger geeks. I've an overclocked Q-9550(3.40Gg). I've got the bug to move up
to a MSI 465 dual fan with 1Gb of DDR5 and good overclocking/cooling reviews. I'd like to stay with EVGA because of their liftime warranty, 90 day step up program(which I've used), but to my knowledge, their 465 runs hot, and does not overclock as well.

I've also heard rumors that the msi model, with a bios flash, can be unlocked into a gtx 470.

If you have an MSI 465 GTX twin frozr II gold edition it does indeed unlock to a 470.

That would be this one, from superbiiz (cheapest at this time).

A GTX 470's about $20-30 more expensive. You might want to just go with the 470 instead or a lesser GTX 465/460.
