So I saw the X2 555 in Microcenter for 80 bucks and decided to give it a whirl in my MSI 770G45.
I been running a OCd X4 630 for the past few months and its been great but I got the 555 just to play around with and see how well it would run compared to the 630.
After checking the batch number and comfirming it was very recent I saw that this could be a nice pick up.
I threw it in this morning and I am pleased with the results:

I havent even tweaked the OC yet, just set the bus to 225 and its been rock solid through Sandra. Ill push it farther and post later on this week here.
Temps look good too:

(Hyper 212+ and OCZ Freeze)
The only downside: In real world performance it doesn't really do anything much faster than the 630 @ 3.4 GHZ other than benchmark.
Im shocked. What an amazing deal. Anyone looking to build a budget AMD should look no farther than this chip if you can verify batch # 1028MPMW.
