Ok so I did a slight oc on my cpu and was wondering if you any of you could tell me if it looks like a safe clock. Here is my hardware:
AMD Phenom IIx4 955BE
Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5 Mobo
Xigmatek Balder HSF
4gb of Gskill ECO DDR3 1600 RAM
XFX Radeon HD4870 GPU
OCZ ModXstream 700 PSU
Antec 902 Case
Here is my recent burntest:

If it doesn't crash, it is safe.

You might want to stress test it a bit harder than that. I've never actually heard of "burntest" before. However, looking at the display, it only ran for 470 seconds? That's 7m 50s of "burn" hardly what I would call stressful. You'll need to push it longer to see if it and your cooler can keep up with the heat.

Unless things have changed, Prime95 is usually the go-to stressor for testing the CPU. Alternatively, you could give some assistance to medical research and run the Folding@home client on it.

I believe that is LinPack, which is a highly regarded stress tool for use in conjunction with Prime95.

bbies1973 is right in saying that you need to run your stress test of choice for longer than a few minutes - 6 hours at least is good, 12 hours or more is recommended.

IBT is a great test as Spartacus said.

Good luck. :)

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/sho ... p?t=201670 <-- thats a real stress test just let it run 20 passes if it passes you are good to go, sometimes you get an error after the last pass which can be ignored.
