In my Antec 900, I used small, black zip ties to zip tie those switch dongles to one of the inside mounting holes on the body of the fan itself.
As far as a fan controller, this one
has lasted for over two years now with nary a hiccup ***knock on wood*** and it controls four of my fans via variable speed knobs and two others via three position switches. +12V/Off/+5V. I've never had a fan controller last as long as this one has. I've tried the blingy ones with LCD screens and all that jazz and eventually, they either short out, the LCD goes out or, in the case of two others, the damned hi-temp warning buzzers wouldn't stop sounding. With the Zalman controller, I just set all the fan speeds to "Hi" via their switches and then control them from the controller.
The only drawback I've had with it are how bright the blue LED's are on front. But a little black tape wrapped around them and cut 'just so' took care of that.
