I got a xigmatek 120mm hdt and was wondering if there is an easy or right way to attach a second fan. Also since I have a new hs my side fan doesn't fit so should I get new acrylic and replace the panel or maybe try to relocate the fan? My case is the antec 900.

Post up some pictures of what you are thinking about doing and what your case looks like now.

I doubt you'll see a worth-while improvement on getting a second fan for your HDT-S1280 (that is what you're talking about, right?). Push-pull configs are only worth doing when you have a heatsink with lots of thick fins (Like Thermalright's IFX-14, or the good 'ol TRUE). Most heatsinks use relatively thin fins.

If you want my advice, the 900 is already overkill on airflow. I'd get a new plexiglass panel to replace the side-fanned one (just to fill up the whole) and call it a day. This really depends on your goals and the rest of your setup though.

If you really wanted the extra airflow you could mount the fan on the outside of the case and use a fan grill.
