I read the most recent DIY article, and my interest was peaked by the last item, make an old netbook into a digital picture frame. My dad gave me his old Inspiron 7500 from 1999, and I have installed linux on it and done a whole bunch of other stuff with it. To start this project, i reinstalled windows XP home on the 6gb HDD (lol) and put some pictures on it. then i stripped the components out of the case, and kept the necccecary components, i.e. the mother/daughter boards, and the hdd. I cut away some of the plastic from the back of the monitor to leave enough cable length to get to the connector on the mobo. Here is where i ran into problems. I want to secure the components to the back of the monitor, so that everything is sturdy for when i frame it. My dad has a can of liquid nail in the garage, would that stick to the plastic? i have tried to research, but i couldn't find anything about whether or not it conducts electricity. If there is a better epoxy, something cheap, let me know. I will post pictures later, im at school right now. :D

Read the tube, what does it say? There are many different kinds of liquid nails and some may work others may not. Also some plastics just don't take glue very well, if at all. Laptop cases probably will.

Silicon would be a good way to go as well I think.

Will your liquid nails work? Maybe. I don't know what you have.
