I'm bored this weekend, so I decided to take on a project. I decided to make my own All-in-one with some spare parts. I want to hang a mini-atx motherboard on the back of an old 15' CRT monitor and put a power supply and hard drive somewhere else on the monitor. Would I run into problems with static emissions from the monitor screwing up the motherboard, power supply, or hard drive?

No there won't be a problem but there are few things to avoid like the single wire attached to the side of the CRT. If you just want to extend off the back of the CRT case (enclosure) there should not be a problem.
