I read the most recent DIY article, and my interest was peaked by the last item, make an old netbook into a digital picture frame. My dad gave me his old Inspiron 7500 from 1999, and I have installed linux on it and done a whole bunch of other stuff with it. To start this project, i reinstalled windows XP home on the 6gb HDD (lol) and put some pictures on it. then i stripped the components out of the case, and kept the necccecary components, i.e. the mother/daughter boards, and the hdd. I cut away some of the plastic from the back of the monitor to leave enough cable length to get to the connector on the mobo. Here is where i ran into problems. I want to secure the components to the back of the monitor, so that everything is sturdy for when i frame it. My dad has a can of liquid nail in the garage, would that stick to the plastic? i have tried to research, but i couldn't find anything about whether or not it conducts electricity. If there is a better epoxy, something cheap, let me know. I will post pictures later, im at school right now.
