if you have any version of windows xp, with out the service pack 3, you can make it fell and look like vista for free.

vista customers

get vistamizer for startup and window outlines and icons, vista transformation pack 8 for start menu and general vista usage + statistics, others are completely optional.

it is worth it

like getting vista without the price tag.

Not bad. But if I owned Vista, I myself would want to know if I could make it look like Win2000 to get rid of the Fisher-Price GUI... like I did with XP.

I just use the VistaVG theme for windows xp. Looks close enough to vista, but there's no aero glass. There's as much of a performance hit as running the regular luna interface. Win-Win situation.
