I've always wanted to mod a window into my Antec P180 case.

But alas, I lack tools/courage/dexterity to cut into my case's side panel.

Ok i admit i'm boring... I'll just go have my bread and glass of water (for dipping) now...

Modding the glossy screen on my laptop into a matte screen. I use my laptop in the car alot, and the glossy screen is annoying as hell when there's a reflection (which is about 99.99% of the time if it's daytime.) My dad wouldn't let me do it.

An all-out wood/metal art deco case. I know they make wood cases, but the design I have in mind is much different and more conservative than most of them. And they're too expensive.

And if I did it myself, it'd look like shit.

Of course instead of actual wood you could paint the woodgrain.

I wouldn't for the same reason I wouldn't get a faux-wood dash in say a Hyundai; it looks like crap.

An in-wall PC 8)

The only reason I haven't tried it is because I don't own a house.

Best idea ever! You can call your house the "Smart House."

Oh yeah my idea is a Exploding volcano PC. When the P4 heats up like hell, the volcano erupts.

my second idea is a simple waterfall pc. you know the little fountains things you can get for home.

still i like my volcano idea!

A replica of a ship from one of the Star Trek series, or Firefly, or maybe even a full size replica of a Darlek from Doctor Who

The darlek I've put quiet a bit of thought into. Eye stalk light as the power light, voice coil lights as the HDD activity lights. Edit the welcome tone to say something like "exterminate" and maybe (like its even out there) install a narrator that has a darlek voice instead of microsoft sam or microsoft mike
