I'm looking for links to case airflow diagrams, with fan positions and sizes. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't have any links, but the principle is that airflow is from front to back and bottom to top provided you're building a fairly traditional case. A typical case with decent airflow would have a 120mm intake fan at the bottom of the front panel and an exhaust fan directly across from the CPU on the back panel. Some cases have a top panel exhaust fan. Consider fan filters on all intake fans; helps reduce dust inside case.
