I had to mod a bracket for a water block from my Thermaltake 735 kit.
I bought this kit for 50$ after a gift card and mail in rebate. It has cooled 3 of my AMD chips and now on the 4th. Being that it was made for 939 It didn't fit the AM2+ mobo very well. I thought there was a bracket but I guess I was wrong.
So I decided to make one. I was told be careful not to crack the water block and I've had no problems.
Cooling my 125 watt TDP phenom with ease with temps @ 38C idle and 44C @ full load AOD stress test for over a hour @ stock speeds.
If you look close and see additional holes, That's the idea of it. I can still mount it to 939 (the hole closest to the block) and possibly Intel boards also with the holes drilled in between. (I haven't tried an Intel board yet)
A budy of mine has like 7 Intel PC's and won't give one up for testing and or overclocking / modding. Intel fan boy needs an arm twisting. He knows who he is that I speak of lol right S....y??
Yea the blocks turned due to the fact the are no centered mounting screw holes straight up and down. I thought this would be a problem but it looks as if It just makes it.
That's my most recent mod hope you like it.
