 Post subject: Painting Anodized Aluminum

I'm looking to paint the interior of a Lian Li PC-V1100B some sort of black color. I'm pretty sure it has all anodized aluminum and I'm wondering if you need to then do anything special before you paint it to ensure it doesn't flake, wear down, etc. Thanks for the help.

I think what I would try is laying down a healthy coat of black self etching primer and then putting a strong clear coat on top. I'm using a gray Duplicolor primer on my current project and I noticed that it goes on very smooth with little or no orange peal.

Don't try it without talking to someone with more painting experience as I've never done this before and I'm not sure exactly how it would come out.
