I have an old Dell Latitude XPi CD that I am very interested to go coroner on! I am tired of it taking up space and I would like to use the LCD panel inside my computer case for a coll mod...

I have scourered the internet for resources in removing the panel but to no avail! I know how to take it apart and remoce the panel, but what do I do next? How do I set it up to use it as an LCD panel for my desktop.

It has a maximum resolution of 800x600, but I am going to use it to display system information.

I really think you're out of luck, I don't know of anyone who has accomplished what you are talking about.

Finally someone has a solid answer and does not tiptoe around the question. I found some information on http://www.earthlcd.com. They sell LCD kits aout the wazoo. I do not want to go and buy a LCD kit though right now.

They do have a $150 setup that includes a 16bit color, 11.3in LCD, with controlel, but that is all I could afford.

Yah just a tad, most of the forum bugs here have ADD or something because matter how direct your questions are, they always go off-topic.

That's the nature of the beast I'm afraid.
