I am working on a pc mod using a custom built case to house an AMD 3200+ motherboard and the XBOX motherboard, moded of course. So I need a smaller sized motherboard but must be AMD 3200+ compatiable. I looked at the mini atx boards, but most are designed for P4's :x . also I would prefer there be no builtin video card. As I wish to use either an 8x or 4x AGP based card. Any ideas for were I can find and compair smaller boards. The goal is to not use a divider in the center of the case, unless absolutly nessisary. Since the case will also be liquid cooled, and entirely internal space is at a premium. Any ideas would be very helpful. Thanks.

What about any of the micro ATX nForce2 mobos? Here's a list from Newegg...

EDIT:
Bum link...just type "micro" and "nforce2" on Newegg's search bar.

I will look over these. This seems to be a good starting place. Thanks for the link. How ever not sure if these will fully utilize the 3200+ CPU. Will have to research these a little more. Thanks none the less!

Not sure what you're referring to when saying "fully utilize," as it doesn't get any better than an nForce2 with a Barton setup.

BTW, that link I gave didn't work, so just do a search for Micro and nForce2 on Newegg and it will give you a list. The least expensive one is this Chaintech:

After doing a little reading into the nforce2 can fuly handle the 400Mhz FSB and the boards I was looking at supported DDR400. That with the fact that it is 244 x 244mm it sounds like a perfect fit. CHAINTECH 7nil1-summit. Yes the link was not working but did get me to the site so all I had to do was search a little. Thanks for your help! I will soon be placing pics of my creation in this forum for feed back. As I hope to enter it into the rig of the month contest.

No need to feel left out. When I was helping him, I was thinking:

"Golly gee, if Chumly were online, I bet he'd recommend a microATX nForce2 motherboard and point this fellow towards Newegg. So that's what I'll do"

How about the motherboard of a Shuttle sn45? Upside, Ultra 400 chipset will use all the bandwidth of your 3200+. Downside...frickin expensive, I think shuttle will sell it as a "replacement" board for about $170, or you can try to get a refurb barebone and take the board out.

whats with you people saying "fully utilize" and "use all the bandwidth" as long as the board matches the FSB of the processor and you have decent ram then your processor is "using its bandwidth" and being very well "utilized". if you wanted to truely utilize your cpu i'd suggest some nice folding@home work

edit:forgot to check my spellings....we need a spell checker

Well, most nForce2 chipsets run on a 333 mhz FSB. That's fine if you have a 2500+ to 3000+. which run at 333 (some 3000+, like mine, also are available @ 400FSB). RedTick's got a 3200+, which runs a 400 mhz FSB. If he wants to run @ 400 mhz, he needs to get an Ultra400 chipset, like the sn45g.
