I'm looking to add some cooling to the following setup, and would like some suggestions. I have this case: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDe ... 122&depa=0

With the following in it:
P4 2.8 with Zalman CNPS700A-cu cooler
ASUS P4P800 DX
ATI 9800 pro with Arctic Cooler
2x Enermax 120mm
DVD ROM
CDR
120gb SATA HD
Santa Cruz Soundcard
Netgear NIC

My question is. Where should I put a 120mm blowhole? Should I put one on top sucking out, or on the side blowing in? Thanks for any suggestions.

IMHO a 120mm(or an 80mm) blowing in on the side

that case already has a decent amount of air flowing out..1-120mm and 1-80mm(PSU) . If you added another fan blowing out the 120mm inlet won't be able to bring in enough cool air :)

I'm guessing that it should be blowing on the AGP slot, correct? Thanks for the help. -Mac

I have the same case as you do, and I put a 120mm fan blowing right about where your pic shows.

My setup is similar too (2.8c CNPS7000A-AlCu, 9800pro, Asus p4p800se), and when I installed the fan on the side of the case it brought my case and cpu temps down 5 - 10C depending on the temp outside of the case.

Thanks a lot yall. I should have some time this weekend to cut the blowhole. I'm also going to cut the built in fan gaurds out, and maybe get a little more air-flow as well. I also need to tidy up the wiring a bit. Man, a simple blowhole is turning into an all day affair. I'm gonna need more than a six pack. :P I'll keep yall posted with temps, and maybe a few pics. Thanks again! -Mac
