ok..i been thinking about this for a whlie....my next project i want to make an arcade machine...two things....first i am not going to mention any programs or rom sites...so before you ask questions don't ask about those i don't know whre they are and i don't know how to get them...lets just put it that way...i will post strictly hardware..you know... how to wire the joystick, build the cabinet etc...
the second thing..is .building an arcade machine is it really a mod??would you guys be interested in the building process? i know there are many sites out there..so i am not sure if i should post the progress here...
like i said i been thinking about this for awhile an i think now i have the time to do it so i am in the planning stages
well let me know what you guys think??feedbacks are welcomed

Yes,

It would be a very interesting Mod.

Good call on the rom sites BTW. We don't need to go there :)

Alright, you got me very interested in this project :D . I found this site on a search on google. Instead of pre-ordering everything you can buy all of it at outpost.com(fry's). It has arcade parts and also joy sticks and stuff. If you decide to do this please put some picuters up. :D :D :D

glad i got you interested...anyway why pay more than $100 when you can make it your self for a third of the price...check this site out

http://www.centsibleamusements.com/inde ... tegory=225
and also ebay has a lot of stuff..but most important where is the fun in buying already made stuff..plus by building it myself i have more freedom to costumize the cabinet..
another thing dont post anything related to rom because you are going to get your self banned from the BB and they might delete the tread because rom are illegal no matter how old the game is and you are not suppose to post anything related to them..

I have (been involved) in making one with my dad's school's CIS glass. Well worth it.
