Ah I see, I'm still trying to find the perfect case that looks nice, has good airflow, roomy, and fan filters all over at a decent price.

Sweet antec lanboy case, its in my top 10 cases of all times...cool I'm in your pic

Awesome cable management

vga to displayport works perfectly fine (seems all vga to dp are active), and it only cost 20$...and more messy wires

I'm too lazy to back up ~800GB of storage just to go to windows 7. I upgraded to it on my laptop since there was minimal stuff to back up.

Cable management is decent. there's plenty of ways you can improve it though. Also, what happened to the rear fan?

I took it out. It was causing a turbulence with the CPU fan and I didnt want to have to buy identical fans to stop it. The temps have gone down since I removed it and it is currently stable at 4.2ghz

Also I did use smoke testing like they do in wind tunnels to test this, before anyone asks.

Desk looks like it's from the out of business O'Sullivan Industries. Got a corner workstation that looks similar in the details that is well over 10 years old. Looks great still despite the abuse...

wow, impressive workstation! My dad works as a graphic artist at his church, and they got him a Dell Precision about a year ago. I was fairly impressed... though I would still build my own, and his home workstation is indeed built by me.

The desk is from Sauder Woodworking and I bought it in the early 90's.

I couldn't build one of this power as cheap, the base system was $650. I've got an additional $950 in it. Gotta love Dell scratch and dent sales. 2nd processor and 12GB ram were system pulls. The vid card was on sale at Fry's so I got a good deal on it as well..

I would buy 3 of the same fans to stick on there.

You can use a vga to dp adapter for the 3rd monitor since all vga to dp are active adapters. It works for me on my setup. More information here:

That Scythe Mugen is gifrickinormous!!! I sure hope it cools extremely well! It's like the Kraken of air coolers, lol. Nice build btw.

Also, can someone please fix Reckford's table-breaking picture? I PM'd him at least a good 4 to 6 days ago, asking him to do it himself, but I've not seen a response. I have a 1680x1050 res and that still breaks the tables. Thank you.

Any info on the temps you get? I have an Intel Q9550, stock settings, but with a Zalman CNPS9700NT, and average the 33 to 37 range, celsius, and it rises to roughly 40/41 at full load. I'm curious as to what the Mugen gets roughly, for the CPU u have. I was looking at that one, the Prolimatech Megahelams and the Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme. I've seen that it normally does get killer temps with a lot of dBA, due to a lot of CFM's, but the TT120E seems to be at the top for one of, if not, the best air cooler so far. Idk though, it's also a big mutha trucka, lol.
