Greetings, new here. I’m building a gaming rig, an AMD 64 3500 939 pin/GF 6800 GT VGA card and I’m thinking about adding a watercooler like these guys link here
since AMD cpu’s can be very hot. I was wondering if I have to add water or some kind liquid every day to a tank to maintain a cool heatsink and cpu sort of like adding water to a small humidifier every day? I don’t want the hassle of adding water or some kind of liquid everyday and I might forget to add water and ruin the CPU. I don’t really care about the noise of an air fan heatsink. I just want a literally cool cpu for those AMD 64, so it doesn’t get overheated especially if I update to a AMD FX53 939 pin later on when the price comes down reasonably. I don’t really know about watercooler heatsinks. So I’m completely new to this. These are the ones I’m looking at:
Also, is there any guides, walkthroughs, and tips to installing watercoolers online or PC magazine. I’m sure the watercooler kits have a guidebook but I want to learn how it’s done before I decide to get it. Thanks for any response I get.
