i heard that it cools the cpu wayyy better if you put like a tunnel from your side fan over the HSF, they say it keeps the incoming air cooler. i was just wondering if this true and if anybody can give me tips on how to do it?

Although that is an australian site.

The one thing you must keep in mind though is that the CPU is not the only thing that needs cooling in your case.

The OC'ers folder probably would have given you better answers on this

Hotrodding -> performance, OC'ing, cooling

also if i used something like that wouldnt just disrupt the airflow of the whole computer?
and would there be large enough results to go this route?

Its dependant on your system really. You will get a few degrees out of it. However, the max under ideal condition is 15 degrees C. And you will never get that. Expect more like 3-4.

Is it worth it? Thats up to you

put it like this, it cant hurt

i have my side fan ducted directly to my cpu and it truely does help. it gives it a lot of air and it give its cooler air. i still do have 2 fans in the front and 2 in the back to keep everything else cool.
