Maximum PC

Hi guys, so this is the deal. I'm curently in my last year of college (12th grade), and for my end of course project I decided on making a EVA-01 PC case acompanied by a game. The model will be the upper torso, I wont be making any legs.

The thing is I'm new to moding and I don't know how I'm going to make the model, I'd realy apreciate some help and sugestions.

Since when is 12th Grade Senior Year the same as College Senior Year?

You could try building the torso out of foam board, glue the sheets together to get the size and depth you need then start shaping it by cutting it away. Then when you are finished coat it with fiberglass resin and it should good...just a thought. It will be a lot of work though. If you had the money and the access to modeling software you could model the shape you want and then pay a machine shop to CNC the shape out of the foam (there is a special foam for that) and then you could coat it with fiberglass resin:)

I does look like a lot of work, the model plus the game will take forever and I've only got around 10 months to get this done. An alternative that I thought of would be purchasing an actual figure of the 3 diferent EVA from the anime and using the hardware to build Neo Tokyo (the city featured in the anime), then place the figures interacting with the hardware.

For example one smashed into the graphics card. . .that's the only one I thought of

How are you are Art? If you feel like you can do the molding, the foam sculpting shouldn't take terribly long say three weeks if you work on it during the weekends full-time9 this is for the draft anyway.
How long will the game take you though? Is this a software game or basic PLC programing or is it done through logic circuits?
The reason I ask is that a time line and a plan A,B, and C would help you figure out what you can do.

When I go for mods, I go for themes over trying to get the exact reproduction of the subject. So instead of a torso-up mod where you're aiming to make it look just like that Anime character, how about aiming for a theme? Right away, I just see a Silverstone Raven case painted purple, green, and matte gray (perhaps all matte?). If you want them arm thingies, then maybe a trip to eBay to find JetFire/Skyfire (Transformers) booster rockets and cut one in half.
