Im installing a ATI card 9800 pro into my other computer that has a geforce 3 in it. How do I get rid of the NVIDIA driver completly as to have no problems?
thanks
hi, many people will tell you a fresh install is the "best" solution when going nvidia to ATI. I have do this without much difficulty however without reformat.
what I would do (did)
unistall nvidia drivers (run regcleaner...or driver Cleaner)
http://www.driverheaven.net/cleaner/
then remove the nvidia card, put in the ati card and then install the cat drivers (download most recent from ATI).
also you might want to check over at rage3d for any ATI related questions they have an extensive forum pretty much dedicated to ati.
peace.
