I get this same update notification every day for a specific script that can be exploited in WMP9. I have installed it, maybe it is corrupted...so I unistalled it. Welp, it still comes up even though I installed it again.

Fix?

WinXP Pro
WMP 9

When I get home Ill give the exact update #

I'm not sure if you can do this in WinXP, but you could try uninstalling WMP and then reinstalling it (make sure you restart before you reinstall!). If you just want to get rid of the warning, see if you can disable auto-updates.
